Overusing Transition Words

Other terms like “in addition” and “furthermore” are frequently employed in formal writing, but they can sound strange when spoken. 

Parroting the Question and Poor Pronunciation

“Parroting the question” refers to answering the interviewer’s question in a statement. 

Unfortunately, the interviewer wouldn’t be impressed if you did that because your ability to change your voice and paraphrase the question’s wording will affect your performance on the test.
